There
are several types of computer mouse :-
1. Optical mouse :- An optical mouse uses a light-emitting
diode (LED) and a small camera to detect the movement of the mouse. It works on
most surfaces and is the most common type of mouse.
2. Wireless mouse :- A wireless mouse uses radio frequency
(RF) or Bluetooth technology to communicate with the computer. It does not
require a cord and offers more freedom of movement.
3. Trackball mouse :- A trackball mouse has a stationary ball
on the top that you use to move the cursor. It is useful for people with
limited desk space and is often used in industrial and medical settings.
4. Touchpad :- A touchpad is a built-in pointing device
commonly found on laptops. It allows you to move the cursor by sliding your
finger across a small surface.
5. Gaming mouse :- A gaming mouse is designed for gamers and
has features such as adjustable sensitivity, programmable buttons, and
customizable lighting.
6. Vertical mouse :- A vertical mouse is designed to keep your
hand in a more natural position, reducing the strain on your wrist and arm. It
is often recommended for people who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome or other
repetitive strain injuries.
7. 3D mouse :- A 3D mouse is used primarily by designers and
engineers to navigate 3D models. It has a unique design that allows for more
precise control over movement and rotation.
