Joystick Device Information
A joystick is a type of input device that is used to operate video
games, computers, and other electronic devices. It is made up of a lever or
joystick that can be manipulated in various orientations to provide input to a
computer or gaming console. To allow for additional input, joysticks usually
have one or more buttons on the top or side of the device.
Joysticks can be used to control movement in video games, navigate
computer interfaces, and operate robotic devices, among other things. They are
also frequently used to provide a realistic control experience in flight
simulators and other types of simulators.
A USB cable, wireless connection, or Bluetooth can be used to attach a
modern joystick to a computer or gaming device. Additional inputs, such as
triggers, throttle controls, or programmable buttons, are available on some
joysticks, providing for even more precise control.
