To connect a Canon LBP 2900 printer
to a computer running Windows 7 or 10, follow these steps :-
1. Make sure
the printer is plugged in and turned on.
2. Download
the drivers for your printer from the Canon website. Go to the Canon Support
page, select your printer model, and download the drivers for your operating
system.
3. Install the
drivers on your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
installation.
4. Connect the
printer to your computer using a USB cable. Make sure the cable is securely
connected to both the printer and the computer.
5. Turn on the
printer and wait for it to be detected by your computer.
6. Open the
Control Panel on your computer and select "Devices and Printers."
7. Click
"Add a printer" and select "Local printer."
8. Choose the
port where the printer is connected and click "Next."
9. Select the
driver you just installed and click "Next."

Name your printer and click "Next."
11.
Choose whether to share the printer or not, and click
"Next."
12.
Print a test page to make sure the printer is set up
correctly.
Your Canon LBP 2900 printer should
now be connected to your computer and ready to use.
